These are two are shots for the rule of thirds,.. the geese were amazing, yet the tree in the center is not as pleasing as the one with it on the right,..I have to say,.. I did scare them off, and want to share one of the many gorgeous shots I got of them in flight , just for fun,

I like how you used the rule of thirds top to bottom instead of side to side. Great shots I love the one in flight.
You are right about the tree in the picture, placing it to to left makes it more pleasing, but with that you cut the tree line and I feel it took away some of the contrast. I think a lower horizon line would have changed the perspective.
