Light perspectives

The first image is a conch shell,  with candle light behind it, the second, a flash with candle light, the third and star image for me is the early morning light, fourth, after a rain, and last,..and least fav. late afternoon, with flash. Nothing beats early morning light,.. well, most of the time, for me, getting up is the hard part!!

I like your creativity...If you don't have the shot you need you make one! Great work! My husband and I are going to go for a car ride hopefully next weekend and check out all of the colors!! I hope to get some great shots!

Wow, is it that the shell is thinner in that area and so the light just pours right through? I agree that the early morning light not only looks best in your photos but often produces the best light; then and when the setting sun dips below rain clouds and paints an otherwise dark earth with golden light, as I witnessed today. Very nice.

Again... wow. I'm not a huge fan of the up early thing, but obviously it can be worth it. Thanks.

I really like your 3rd picture with the lighting, but the candle also adds a really cool effect. Nice job!

Diana,

The first photo with the candle behind the appears as if the shell is alive and has life. I like the mystical quality the lighting gives the shell. Well done.
